Our mission is to provide our community with swim programs that offer not only the basics of water safety and learn to swim lessons, but cultivate a love for swimming that will last a lifetime. Safety is our #1 priority at Sunshine Swim Center, not only in the pool but around the pool deck as well.

Masks are required to be worn when walking on the pool deck by everyone regardless of vaccination status. Looking for a year round position? The Sunshine Swim Center is always looking for qualified, energetic individuals to join our team. The Sunshine Swim and Event Center is hiring for multiple part-time positions immediately. Swim Instructor, Lifeguard, Camp counselor, Event Host and Swim Lesson and Pool Party Manager/Pool Deck Supervisor.

Sunshine Swim Center opened in 2013 with one clear objective in mind, become Elk Grove's elite facility for small group quality swim lessons. Our programs include not only swim lessons for infants, youth and adults but also a swim team, a summer camp, at-home programs and pool rentals. Discover swimming for yourself at Sunshine.
CPR Training

The American Red Cross Training provided by Sunshine Swim Center is a blended learning course. The first portion is completed online, followed by in-person testing. Individuals are allowed 45 days from the time of registration to complete the course in order to be eligible for testing/certification.
Family Swim Night
Report
Cost: Free for families enrolled in 2021 swim programs at Sunshine or $5.00 per person for the general public. Open Swim starts at 4:00pm. Swimmers will be asked to exit the pool 5 minutes prior to pool closure. If alcohol or marijuana is found in the possession of any guest, you will be asked to leave the premises and will no longer be allowed to participate in future Family Swim Nights.
Scholarship Program

The Sunshine Swim Center scholarship program, Swim Strong Life Savers, was established in 2017 for the sole purpose of educating the Elk Grove community about water safety. 1 in 5 children under the age of 8 are involved in a drowning. Many of these drownings occur in the home. The good news is. Drownings may not result in death but can still have lasting effects on the victims and their families.
