About Us
Report
We are passionate about water safety and helping little ones overcome fears to achieve safety skills and confidence in the water. Our swim instructors strive to create an environment where your child feels safe enough to try new things and accomplish goals. Adapting: Understanding that all kids are different and tailoring the lesson to each individual's needs.
Semi-Private
Report
Children 4 to 16 years old can be in a Semi-Private Lesson and will be paired with another swimmer of similar age and swimming skill. Semi-private lessons teach cooperation and teamwork. Swimmers work together in semi-private lessons. They play games, practice water safety, and learn to encourage one another, respect individual differences, listen, and cooperate in a small group setting.
Adaptive
Report
Our adaptive program has been specially designed to benefit children and adults with a range of special needs including autism, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, down syndrome, sensory disorders, ADHD, and visual impairment. Our goal is to help each swimmer push past their physical, cognitive, or neurological challenges to be successful in learning to swim, learning water safety, developing confidence, increasing fitness, and having fun!
Endurance Class
Report
Our endurance swim class is for children ages 5 to 14 and is specifically designed for our Intermediate and Advanced Swimmers. The focus will be on endurance, stroke refinement, and exercise. This is a great option for kids that won't have their standard physical education classes or sports programs.
Levels and Skills
Report
We have eight swim levels within our program. Swimmers will be placed into a swim level depending upon their ability and comfort in the water. Each level is made up of five skills. Once a swimmer successfully performs a skill in three consecutive lessons, they master that skill. After a swimmer has mastered all of the skills within a level, they will pass that level and move onto the next.
