Your donation will be used to provide pro bono legal services for immigrants who survived violence and trauma in their home countries. An indigenous woman from Guatemala who fled her country after suffering extreme and unrelenting domestic violence from her husband. At age 15, she was forced to marry her abuser and had two children with him.

Qualifications sought: Holds a bachelor's degree or will soon graduate from a four-year college. Spanish speaking. Organized and self-motivated to meet deadlines. Willing to learn the basics of immigration law concepts, forms, and practices. Concise writing skills and strong reading comprehension. Able to communicate with Spanish-speaking clients on behalf of the attorney.
