My name is Amy Weaver, and I'm a Dallas, TX native. I've been an artist for as long as I can remember, and baking has always been something I enjoy. It wasn't until I started baking my children's birthday cakes that I began to incorporate my artistic talents in to my baking and fell in love with the art of cake design.
With each cake, my talent and love grew more. So, I decided to make a career of it, and began working as head cake decorator at a well known bakery in Frisco, TX. It was there that I perfected my delicious cake recipes and an authentic Italian buttercream icing. I stopped doing cakes full-time for a few years to focus more on raising my children and further my artistic growth in other mediums.
