A place to enjoy traditional Italian cuisine. although not my usual pasta dish from a restaurant, the Rigatoni Alla Vodka was succulent with just the right amount of sauce and parmesan. On the other hand for the Strozzapreti Cacio E Pepe, although my guest was pleased with it... I didn't care for it's particular taste. The drinks were continually well crafted by Alfonso. We got the "night watch." It was such a good drink, we had to get it twice. A great time and good ambiance. I'll be back.
not pictured was the prosecco from the tap. It was a bit dry for my taste, but

The service here was amazing, the food was amazing, and the environment was (surprise) amazing. The thing that set this place apart was that we mentioned once that it was our friend's birthday, and the staff brought out a dessert with a candle, and glasses of champagne for the whole table. Such a kind gesture from a very friendly group of people that made our night :) we will be back!

Came here for Restaurant Week and while the menu was pretty good, I would actually come back to order off the regular menu instead! The vibes are perfect at this place, right in the heart of East Village, perfect for outdoor dining and people watching.
The highlight of the Restaurant Week menu to me was the bruschetta, which I was not necessarily expecting to be so good. The bread had the perfect amount of olive oil, and the tomatoes were so fresh and created such a good flavor. My boyfriend got a cheese plate as an appetizer and my bread was also perfect for layering some cheese and sopressata

This may be worst restaurant I ever ate at ... and in NYC! I have never had a bad glass of Montepulciano until it was poured here. The meat carpaccio was a pretty plate of a cheap cut of tasteless beef, the Parmesan was the lowest quality, the greens limp, and the salad dressing tasteless. The chicken Milanese was 1/16" thick and the flavor and texture of cardboard. The gelato was pretty good. And the service was excellent. Avoid like the plague!

This Italian place has one of the coziest vibe in East Village. All the way from candle lit tables to perfectly placed decorative items on the wall giving an amazing ambiance of romance. The food recommendation was fantastic and the dessert- tiramisu might be the best one I’ve ever had! As an added surprise bonus, the tiramisu is lined with chocolate chips at the bottom which gives a subtle crunch and chocolate kick to the tiramisu, making it superb! Highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for a cozy night out with great ambiance, delicious food, and lively company all around!

I waited eons to post this review just because the way I was treated always bothered me. I had a few too many down the street at Pink's (amazing place, they pour generously so tip when you go) and I needed a little coffee to sober up for the trip home and some food as I had little food during my brunch. Understandably, I was a little tipsy and instead of being compassionate and serving me COFFEE and FOOD the guy behind the counter refused to serve me anything at all not even water. He was extremely rude and condescending and treated me so poorly as if I was garbage and not a person. I was

Ami has the perfect cocktail recommendation - didn't ever think pineapple could mix so well with tequila but it changed my life. Not only did ami tolerate our many questions about mixology but she also gave us friendly, fast, and on point service. Couldn't be happier with the night and can't wait to come back.

Sorry, but I am not impressed with food nor service here. I went there Sat morning and it wasn't that busy. The porches eggs we requested didn't come the way we wanted (medium cooked & they were totally hard cooked which shouldn't be) but we are not the type to ask to redo. But the service should be better. We hardly get any service here. The server was just standing inside and not attentive at all. We wanted coffee & water. I was waiving & waiving. She just stood inside. Finally a guy inside the counter noticed and told her, then she came over. I know it was a hot day

I have been to Tarallucci many times in the past few years and it never fails to hit the spot. This is my family's go-to spot for birthday celebrations and date nights. Not only is the food amazing, but the ambience and staff are very wonderful. My go-to meal is cacio e Pepe and I promise you that you will not be disappointed!! I have been to two of their other locations and the atmosphere, service and food did not let me down.
The photo is from my boyfriend's birthday. I let the staff know that we were celebrating and they were so kind to bring out this dessert and birthday drinks!

I guess this place is a trattoria. Easy to walk in and hang out. If you want to just chill out at the happy hour, you can do that. Or if you want to have a nice dinner course, they can accommodate you also. The bartender is very polite and attentive. I had amaro at the end of my meal which was very nice. I highly recommend this place.

I bought an ice coffee from this cafe this morning and just sipped up a shard of glass from the straw. I immediately felt something sharp in the back of my throat and coughed this up. I am appalled and traumatized. This is a major health and safety concern. I can only imagine the danger if I had swallowed the glass and am concerned there may have been other pieces that I didn't catch. The back of my throat is in pain and I'm nervous to eat or drink anything else.

This is a review for the bar and happy hour...
Beautiful corner spot, lots of open air tables. Music at 3:30 was straight from my cassette collection of 1986. Fantástico waiter Thomassino kept my water glass full as I enjoyed a glass or two glass of the house white, and a good portion of olives and a mushroom bruschetta. VERY reasonable prices, decent food and drink, and fun, sweet, and efficient employees. And, if you want more than wine, Al knows his way around a shaker...

Talk about the perfect date night restaurant from start to finish! Tarallucci in the East Village was perfection to the max. It would be really stretching to find fault with anything from our dinner.
As per usual, we set out to go to one place, after a two hour search on Yelp, only to make the fast switch as we exited the subway. (After 15 years of marriage, it works.)
We got to Tarallucci, on the early side, as we had a movie to catch around the corner. What a beautiful and quaint space. With the windows surrounding the front and dining room, it makes the small space seem specious and inviting

My boyfriend and I were passing by when we saw their brunch special. A drink, entree, coffee and an alcoholic drink for $25 ( you can substitute coffee for tea if you're not a coffee person)
Pasteries were good, I'd come back for tea and pastry. Probably not brunch again. They're filling
Brunch: food was good, but not impressive for price.
Service: could be better, they forgot to bring our blini and mimosa. I told our server that we never got them and he removed them from the bill.
Decor: rustic, personally I feel the tables are too small and too close together.

We found TARALLUCCIE on yelp as we were on our way to a movie. The menu looked different and since we haven't had Italian in a while we decided to pop on in. And we are so glad that we did.
Walking in you are welcomed by a beautiful restaurant. Very cozy but modern with a elegant decor and feel. There is a small marble bar that screams bougie. (Right up my alley) I noticed one of the patrons enjoying a strawberry chocolate martini. It looked divine. (We do not drink but I would of loved a virgin version!)
A nice fellow came over and told us to take a seat anywhere. The very small seating
