All of our trail rides are by reservation only. Please use our online reservation tool to make your reservation. We can accomodate 1 to 6 people per ride. We are open year-round and ride at varying times each day depending on the weather and availabilty of trail guides. We are closed on most holidays.
The short answer, because my insurance company says you have to. The real answer is because horses-like any large animal-are unpredictable and we do not want anyone to get hurt. Riders 16 years and older are not required to wear helmets, but we encourage all riders to wear them. We have helmets available for any riders who desire to wear one.

Trail Ride Reservations

We ride by reservation only. Please keep in mind that we sometimes may need to re-schedule your reservation due to weather conditions. Please note that we use a third party to manage our reservations. We are currently only offering 30 minute ($25 per person) and 60 minute ($40 per person) trail rides.
Riding Lessons

Whether you are a beginner or an "old pro" looking for a refresher, come to Natural Valley Ranch. We offer lessons based on your comfort level, and we'll help you become a better rider. Lessons are offered for individuals ages 5 - 6 years and up (depending on the maturity level of the child). We also offer riding lessons for adults.
Birthday Parties

There's always something fun and interesting for kids going on with the animals at Natural Valley Ranch. We customize your party for the ages of the children. NOTE: A deposit of $100 is required to hold the date and time for your party. If party is cancelled within fourteen (14) days or less of your reserved date, you will forfeit your deposit.
Field Trips

Natural Valley Ranch offers a variety of field trip packages designed to fit your needs. Be sure to ask about customizing your package to achieve the specific goals for your class or group. We have picnic tables available for you to use for your lunch or snacks. Tour the barn and visit all the animals, learn about horse safety, how to care for horses, make horse salad and feed it to the horses.
Summer Horse Camp

Campers ages 8 years and up will gain an understanding of beginning horsemanship as well as more advanced horsemanship depending on the students age and ability. Each child will be evaluated by the instructor and given the opportunity to participate in different activities if they wish. Camp includes horse safety, horse health, grooming, saddling, trail and arena riding, stall cleaning.
