Our first experience with Van Damme's Automotive on NE Sandy Blvd. was just routine maintenance. This went very smoothly and seemed to be a reasonable price for the service done.
Our second experience was when our car just died. It was towed, again to the Sandy Blvd. shop where it was declared DOA (to no one's surprise). The folks at Van Damme's were great in helping us get the vehicle donated to the appropriate charity.

I brought a Nissan NV2500 in for pre-purchase inspection. Dan called me with the inspection results and noted some rust was indicated on the undercarriage. This concern me, so Dan went out and got under the vehicle and took six pictures and emailed them to me. He said it was just surface rust. Dan has always gone above and beyond anytime I brought a vehicle. You have serviced my work vans over the year. Dan will give you an honest answer, so I value his input. He was most helpful with this inspection and I decided to purchase the vehicle.

I have all ways got my GMC Yukon return to me from Ken Van Damme's Auto in much better running order than when I dropped it off. Also, they do what I want done, if more is required, I am advised and offered a professional advise on waiting to repair additional items, if I am not prepared to have additional service done at that time. Trustworthy, knowledgeable, quick dependable service -- I had just been told by Toyota dealership that my truck needed about $7000 of work done on it to stop the vibration. Went to Ken Van Dammes Automotive without any appointment -- they took a look at my truck -- within 10 minutes, two mechanics came to me smiling -- they took me out into the shop and showed me the cause of the vibration -- the alternator -- They installed a new alternator and the vibration was gone. I was smiling now as the cost was less than $200 and they checked out the Toyota truck and said everything else was in GREAT shape
