Creative Dance
Creative dance programs for children aged 18 months to 3rd grade focus on natural movement exploration. Classes develop rhythm, repetition, and artistic expression through age-appropriate techniques. Curriculum incorporates STEM concepts using props, musical instruments, and literature to expand movement vocabulary.
Ballet Technique
Ballet instruction for 6th grade students emphasizes technical precision and body alignment. Classes include conditioning exercises to develop strength and fluidity. Training prepares dancers for advanced technical work while maintaining artistic expression and creative problem-solving.
Modern Dance
Modern dance classes for grades 4+ teach technical training, improvisation, and choreography principles. Students explore clarity of line, body articulation, and movement continuity. Curriculum develops creative thinking through composition activities and guest artist collaborations.
Adult Movement
Energizing movement classes for adults aged 18-55+ focus on restorative exercise and community building. Sessions combine dance techniques with improvisation in a supportive environment. Classes meet weekly in three-class series with flexible registration options.
Performing Company
Creativity in Action performing groups offer advanced training for middle/high school dancers. Company members work with guest choreographers and develop original productions. Two tiers provide progressive opportunities for dancers aged 6th grade and above.

Questions
What age groups do you accept?
We offer classes for children aged 18 months through 12th grade, plus adult movement classes for ages 18-55+.
Are performances mandatory?
Our annual performance is optional but encouraged. There's a $35 production fee and $30 costume fee per class.
How are instructors qualified?
All educators hold minimum Bachelor's Degrees in Dance with extensive teaching experience working with children of all ages.
Do you offer financial assistance?
We provide scholarships through our nonprofit foundation and offer family discounts for multiple enrollments.
