Founder Chansey Eames brings professional performance experience from Disneyland and Carnival Cruise Lines to her teaching. With business management training and annual workshop participation, she combines technical expertise with educational leadership to shape the academy's vision and curriculum.
Emma Wadsworth
Instructor
Classically trained at Ballet West Academy, Emma brings competition experience and special needs dance program expertise. Currently pursuing nursing while teaching, she integrates medical knowledge with artistic instruction to support diverse student needs through adaptive dance techniques.
Hayley Devoe
Instructor
A former All-American title winner, Hayley combines competition success with teaching experience. As an original academy dancer who progressed to leadership roles, she mentors students using her extensive performance background and award-winning expertise in multiple dance styles.
Jazmyne Sharp
Instructor
With four years as high school drill team officer experience, Jazmyne specializes in jazz and hip-hop instruction. Currently pursuing dance education at Utah Valley University, she brings academic rigor and practical teaching experience to her energetic and technically focused classes.

The teachers here are amazing and they have several smaller class sizes so the students get more attention from the teachers. They offer several different classes for different age groups and are really easy to work with when it comes to tuition payments. They reward the students for good behaviors and always have fun little parties for the holidays. The studio is in a home, so the parking/drop off area is very limited, as well as parent space in the home where you can watch your children. Overall, my daughter loves it there.

My girls absolutely love dancing at Straight Up Dance Academy! They have learned so much and their love for dance has grown! We sure love Miss Chansey and everything she does for our girls, they just adore her!

Very professional studio. My daughters have been attending here for a few years now and we love it! I have both a more advanced older daughter and a youngling just starting out. Both love their instructor and would not want to attend anywhere else.
