We are pleased to announce that Emerald Animal Hospital will remain OPEN as an essential healthcare service as defined by the Ohio Department of Health's Stay at Home Order (effective Monday 3/23/2020 at 11:59 PM) throughout this pandemic or until otherwise instructed. Our grooming salon is now OPEN!
As we posted earlier, we will continue to see appointments "curbside". Owners are to call our hospital (216-749-7161) from the parking lot when they arrive and will then receive further instructions on our health and safety protocols. You will be asked to stay in your car with some exceptions, such as pet euthanasia.

Monthly Special
Report
Acute pain is typically easy to observe and recognize in animals, as it tends to show through exaggerated limping or urgent vocalizations. But for dogs and cats, as well as other pets, there are some other ways to note if they may be feeling pain. Knowing how to spot possible signs of pain can make the difference between getting your pet prompt medical attention to alleviate their issues or having them suffer in silence.
