Through our programs, kids and teens learn how to imagine, create, and share the music that's in their head.

Live online classes (with Mix Major, of course) sound like a great idea, but maybe there aren't any classes that fit your child's schedule. Maybe your kid has been trying to learn on their own but is tired of digging through an endless amount of low-quality Youtube tutorials. We've been teaching kids and teens how to create their own music since 2015 with our unique music-making curriculum.

That first class in 2018 was a game changer. My son realized through music production, he could be his own band and much more! He traded his drum kit for a production setup and the rest is history. Years later he continues to learn, be challenged, and is just as excited to attend class like it was his 1st day.

I was referred by a friend to Eric to help me learn how to produce electronic music. We started with an introductory call and then an introductory course, during which he provided me direct teaching on the Ableton Live DAW to come up with a song from a prepared set of audio samples he had sent me to download prior to the session.

Eric has DJ'ed all over the world, toured with Madonna, and produced music for Shakira, Cirque Du Soleil, Steve Aoki, and Linkin Park. Eric uses his music-industry career path as a platform to deliver key messages on the importance of creativity, self-confidence, discipline, and hard work.
Also a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Tech and the University of Virginia, Eric offers a unique perspective on career possibilities after TJ.One of Eric's key messages is that TJ grads can have successful careers in music if they can find a healthy balance between academics and the arts.
