Literacy and AAC Specialist
Report
Located down in Tacoma, Paul is the literacy/AAC specialist for the Social Skills Laboratory. He has extensive experience working with students on their literacy, articulation, phonological processes and AAC device skills. He is a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of Washington and also has his CCC-SLP from ASHA.
Home-Based Speech Therapy Sessions

Home-based speech therapy sessions focus on developing skills in an interactive, 1:1 setting. All sessions take place in your own home environment. Sessions with John are offered around Seattle and the Eastside. Sessions with Paul are offered around the South Puget Sound and Tacoma. Flexible and convenient scheduling options, including evenings and weekends.
Evaluations
Report
Speech, language or social skills evaluations can provide invaluable information for families and other educators. These evaluation sessions are followed by the therapist writing up a detailed assessment report that will be provided to the family upon completion. We can thoroughly assess expressive and receptive language, pragmatic/social language, literacy/phonological skills, articulation/speech, stuttering or AAC device readiness.
Virtual Peer/Friendship Groups
Report
Great opportunity to meet new friends, learn new skills and increase social confidence as well as gain familiarity with telecommunication. Online groups offered for Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary, Middle School, High School and Young Adult ages. Group summary notes/take-home practice activities will be provided via email after each group.
