As a child, John Caracci (founder of Johnny C's Deli & Pasta) grew-up in his grandmother's kitchen sampling authentic Italian cuisine. Johnny's grandmother took great pride in the food she prepared for her family and it was here Johnny developed a passion for cooking. In 1992, he decided to open a restaurant that mirrored the experiences he had in his grandmother's kitchen.
Johnny wanted the patrons of his business to feel the same sense of family, contentment, and love he felt with his grandmother those years ago. In order to provide this experience, Johnny knew he would have to create a product that would live up to her exacting standards.
