James Hogan, our cellar master, works diligently to ensure that the wines are nurtured through each step of production and that the facilities are kept immaculately clean and sanitary. Because we are a small production facility, we are able to separate the wines from each vineyard and blend them in such a way that we can achieve perfect balance and expression.
The secret to our success in producing outstanding, terroir driven wines is our vineyards. The vineyards are managed by lifelong viticulturist Paul Hopen. Our philosophy is to farm our vineyards with a respect for the land and the environment.

Thank you for considering the Augusta Winery for your upcoming fundraising event! We are proud to support a variety of local non-profit organizations. Rather than in-kind donations of wine, we prefer to donate a Gift Certificate to our winery. Augusta Winery does not offer cash sponsorships. Due to the high quantity of requests that we receive, priority is given to local community organizations in our area/Washington, MO area.
Wine Club
Report
2 bottles per quarter at 20% Off - Access to our limited production and new releases of our award winning wines before they are available to the public! Each quarter the member will receive an email that it's time for the Wine Club Release. The winemaker will choose one bottle (typically an unreleased vintage or new variety exclusive to members for the first 2 weeks) and the member will choose one bottle from our current line.
Cellar Life
Report
These are just guidelines! Typically white wines and sweeter varieties are best consumed within 2-3 years. Dessert whites like the Icewine are higher in natural sugars extending their cellar life. Red blends are typically best consumed within 3-5 years depending upon the blend. Dry red wines will have higher tannin levels and typically a bit higher alcohol level, both are natural preservatives extending the cellar life.
Gift Cards

The name, email address, and birthdate of the person who will be placing the online order to use the gift card. The name or email address of the person who ordered the gift card as well as the last 4 digits and amount of the gift card. We will email you back when the card has been transfered from the in store system to the online system.
