Dr. Parker Velargo and Dr. Russell Hendrick, Jr. are the co-owners and co-founders of The New Orleans Center for Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery. Each surgeon has their respective specialty. While Dr. Hendrick focuses on cosmetic and general reconstructive surgery of the body and hands, Dr. Velargo focuses on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery for the head and neck.

Dr. Parker Velargo is a double board certified, fellowship trained Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon. Dr. Velargo is a specialist in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, nose, eyelids, ears, and neck. In addition, Dr. Velargo has extensive experience in non-surgical treatments of the face and neck, including injectables and laser therapy.

Dr. Russell Hendrick is a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the breasts and body, as well as non-surgical facial rejuvenation. With his extensive training, Dr. Hendrick prides himself on being able to focus his expertise on these areas to address the patient's specific needs.

Melissa was born and raised in the Greater New Orleans area. She graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. During her time at Loyola, she was a very active member of her sorority Gamma Phi Beta. Melissa completed her senior year internship with Ochsner Health Systems in their Human Resources Department.

The purpose of Faces of Honor is to offer pro bono medical and surgical expertise to veterans and active duty members who were injured while deployed in support of the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan. Dr. Velargo would like to personally thank veterans and active duty members for their service in the war against terrorism and essentially their service to humanity.

The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) Foundation connects victims of domestic violence with Facial Plastic Surgeons in their community. The AAFPRS Foundation was the first surgical group to take a firm stand and become involved in assisting survivors of domestic violence.
