Willamette Aviation Service, LLC is a Fixed Based Operator (FBO) providing services to the General Aviation community. We are located at the Aurora State Airport in Aurora, Oregon, about 20 miles south of downtown Portland, Oregon. Our goal is to meet the needs of the General Aviation community and provide exceptional customer service.

An Annual Inspection is required by the FAA for all aircraft operating within the United States. If the aircraft is used for certain commercial activities (such as flight training), it also must be inspected for every 100-hours of service. The Annual Inspection is based on the aircraft manufacturer's inspection requirements, drawn from FAA guidelines.

Willamette Aviation offers comprehensive Ground Schools for our student pilots, as well as those seeking additional certificates and ratings. We want to produce skilled, safe aviators who can pass the required flight test, but we also want to get you prepared for your exams — the pre-solo, written, and oral — which are major milestones of flight training just as important as the flight test itself.
Redbird FMX

Willamette Aviation is delighted to offer a Redbird FMX full-motion flight simulator to our customers, be they seasoned pros, new students, or even pilots who simply want to sharpen their skills on a rainy day. The Redbird FMX features an electric-motion platform and six wrap-around screens to offer 180-degrees of realism in an accurate flight environment.
