Van's Aircraft
One of the greatest things about flying an RV - other than the incredible airplane of course - is becoming part of the amazing community of builders who have built an RV and made it their own. Anyone can do it! They call it the "RV Grin" - the look you'll have on your face the first time you fly an RV, just like everyone who flies one they built themselves.

Find out why people who build and fly RVs just can't seem to wipe that smile off their faces! Each of our experiences is unique, yet we all have so much in common. Learn directly from RV owners how building and flying these airplanes has shaped their lives. The Company
Report
In the early 1970s, a skinny young engineer from a small town in Oregon built himself a better mousetrap. After improving another homebuilt design - the Stits Playboy - as much as he could, Richard ("Van") VanGrunsven decided to start with a clean sheet of paper. His RV-3 impressed a lot of people ("RV" of course, stands for Richard VanGrunsven).

Modern Design The RV-14 is our most modern design -- the result of what we've learned from many years of manufacturing and flying airplanes, and the requests of our customers. Stand Tall One of the first things you'll notice about the RV-14 and RV-14A is that they stand up tall. It's a great looking airplane.

Light Sport Aircraft It's light, but it's certainly not boring! Fun, Total Performance and nimble handling -- the RV-12iS is all RV with the special added features and benefits of the light-sport category. Build or Buy Whether you want to build it yourself (ELSA) or buy it completely finished and ready to fly home (SLSA), we've got you covered!
Four Real Seats Unlike many four-place aircraft, the RV-10 will allow you to fly with four actual, full-sized adults on board - in comfort and with plenty of room to spread out and relax. Truly Useful Load It's a real hauler: Load up the family, up to a hundred pounds of baggage and a full load fuel - all while maintaining that great RV climb rate and speed.

Super Efficient Wing The RV-9's wing is unique to the model, enabling highly-efficient flight way up in the altitudes. Land and Take Off Short The high-lift wing means it flies quite slow -- enabling very short takeoff and landing distances. Think about the kind of flying you really do. Is the RV-9/9A a good match?
