Curious if House League is a fit for your child? This session is free of charge. If you think you might like to attend, please email Kevin O'Keeffe at so we have a rough idea of numbers. House League is our introductory hockey program open to ages 4-8 (with possible exceptions for kids older than that).

The expectation for House Leaguers is that they have basic skating ability but they do not need to have any hockey experience. The practices are run similar to a Learn to Play program, with a focus on fundamental hockey skills. The games are half-ice games that are either 3 v. 3 or 4 v. 4. The idea is that after a season or two of House League, players will be ready for the mite or squirt travel teams (depending on age).

Girls Hockey
Report
Medfield Youth Hockey (MYH) provides both boys and girls the opportunity to learn and develop skills to play competitive hockey. The program currently offers a variety of programs for girls of all ages and abilities. The season typically runs September through March; however, there are opportunities to join the program after the season has started.
Tuition
Report
Tuition covers ice rentals, league fees, skills sessions, uniforms, registration fees and such. MYH does not receive any outside funding and pays up $350 for ice time at the various ice arenas we use. MYH is extremely fortunate to have very loyal families and volunteers who contribute their time, effort and money to the program.
