Located in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge, St. James Episcopal Day School provides a warm, nurturing environment and developmentally focused curriculum to children from ages eighteen months through fifth grade.

At St. James, we view the admissions process as a collaborative one in which we work closely with you, the parents, as you choose the school that is best for your child. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of each individual student, and our work starts with meeting you. We accept applications on a rolling basis, which means applications are accepted until a class is full, though we do have deadlines for fall screenings, which are listed below.

Tuition Information & Assistance

In order to uphold our high standard of academics and to serve our students with an unmatched learning experience, all students are required to pay for fees and tuition annually. We offer tuition assistance for those who would otherwise be unable to attend St. James Episcopal Day School due to financial reasons.
