A professional picture framer since 1975, Tim Holton founded Holton Studio Frame-Makers in 1993 to offer a sound alternative to conventional frame shops: all the frames we make are our own designs and are custom made by hand and from scratch in our workshop.
Underlying our design approach is a belief that a picture can only be well framed if it's in a well made frame - a frame that's first of all well designed, then well crafted in beautiful solid hardwood.

With more than 35 years of framing experience, I take pride in my expertise as a complete framer. From design, to frame-making, to fitting the picture into the frame in an archivally suitable, protective package, the entire framing project is executed with knowledge, care and expertise.
