The parking lot on the corner of Webster and Taylor streets in Alameda is being converted into an outdoor dining and entertainment area to support local businesses. The Community Healing Art Garden provides a place for members of the community to enjoy alfresco dining, beautiful, locally planted gardens, and art that unites and inspires community action.
We are seeking artists to contribute large pieces of art for the outdoor area. Plywood is available in a variety of shapes and sizes to use as a canvas. You can pick up the plywood and paint it remotely, or paint on spot in the art garden. You will need to bring your own supplies (paint, brushes, water, etc).
