Our founder, Martin Sherman, a West Side native started doing custom picture framing in 1979 in his garage in Santa Monica. The demand for custom frames became so high that it was only natural for him to start doing custom picture framing. He learned every step of the process by basic trial and error with his wife Renee and late brother Dan.
