From humble beginnings in 1979 to the same small-town family owned business in 2020 and beyond. Founder, George Holmes started the Custom Picture Framing shop in 1979 on a ranch in Newbury Park. His neighbors found out that he did custom picture framing and they would bring the artwork to his house.
His first store-front shop opened on Erringer Road. His journey took him to our current location at 2387 Tapo Street. George is retiring in late 2020 and James Gorman will be taking over operation of the shop. James and his family have lived in the Simi Valley community for over 20 years. He retired from 30+ years as a Visual Effects artist for the movie industry.
