Centerpointe
We offer a broad continuum of care - more than 35 programs in the areas of crisis response, treatment, rehabilitation, housing, and peer support. There is no wrong door to walk through to start your journey of recovery with CenterPointe. We use a harm reduction model to help you work toward abstinence and mental stability.

This model recognizes relapse as part of the chronic diseases of addiction and mental illness. A harm reduction model also guides us away from moral judgments and toward the empowerment of people to discover their own healthy path of recovery. Our spectrum is inclusive, serving men and women, civilians and veterans, religious and nonreligious individuals.

History - CenterPointe began in 1973 as Lincoln Lancaster Drug Projects, also known as Full Circle. This was one of the first programs in the nation to offer integrated substance use and mental health care in the 1980s. We added housing services during 1990s. Treatment Philosophy - Here at CenterPointe, we use a bio-psycho-social treatment model to address mental illness and addiction at the same time and on equal terms.

Do not allow Lori (nursing staff) to handle your care. She is dangerous. She has acted outside her scope of practice (in regard to my case) twice in the past 4 months. Lori's actions have placed my health and wellbeing in jeopardy.

There's a reason only the destitute go here. One of the worst therapists I've ever met works here. If you have any other alternative I highly recommend you use it.

I lost my health insurance due to the pandemic and they have been very helpful. I was able to get in quick and have a psych evaluation done and prescribed medicine the same day. They also offer therapy and many other services. The staff is very nice and I look forward to getting better with the help of the centerpointe staff. Thank you guys so much.

It really is a good and helpful place, especially with regard to their 24/7 helpline and their crisis counseling any during open hours. The problem is - probably due to low state funding - their staff is limited so it can be a while before you get the care you need. Lincoln has good physical health services for all walks of life and that will hopefully expand to mental health services soon.
