At Ventura Surf School we provide private and group surf lessons year round, on a demand basis. Wether you are looking to catch your first wave or a surfer trying to sharpen your skills, let our team of professional instructors help you. Eric was an awesome instructor. This was my first time even touching a board and he had me up and riding on my third attempt.
Evan, the owner, is laid back but professional; these guys are the real deal. The lesson started shoreside with about fifteen minutes of instruction and demos. Then we paddled out into the surf and the real fun began. With Eric right by my side, helping me learn to read the waves and get my timing right, I had probably twenty attempts, and rode about a dozen times.

Wether you never have been in the ocean but have dreams of riding your first wave, or a surfer looking to sharpen their skills, we have you covered. Our professional teachers can tailor their instruction to meet your personal needs. Each surf lesson is 2hrs in duration. In that time the first 20 or so min consist of beach instruction.
