Esther, at Elder Guide, handled my fathers Medicaid appeal. Because of the nature of his health problems, there were very few documents that we could access. Esther tracked down everything she could and gave specific advice on how to get financial and personal information regarding my father. We first contacted Elderguide in October 2020, to help a family friend navigate the Medicaid process. Throughout the process we were helped by Sara K, who walked us through all the steps needed to get approval for Medicaid.
Sara was also in contact with the nursing home and kept them informed about where we were in the process. Our friend received Medicaid approval in November 2021. When my mother's health was suddenly compromised I found myself thrust into a world of regulations and red tape. It was unnerving and overwhelming. I had a wonderful experience working with Mirel from Elder Guide to assist in getting Medicaid for my grandmother. She was very professional when answering all of my questions and returned my calls and emails quickly. As for most people, applying for Medicaid is a daunting process and she made it so easy!
