Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Boerne, TX
Taqueria Reyna Tapatia was founded in 2019 by brothers Juan and Hector Huerta, who brought their authentic Jalisco-style Mexican cooking tradition to Boerne, Texas. Rooted in a culinary legacy from Jesus Maria, Jalisco, our family has spent decades perfecting traditional recipes passed down through generations. We opened our first location in San Antonio in 2007 as Taco Guadalajara before establishing Boerne's first Jalisco-style taqueria. Our commitment to quality ingredients and time-honored preparation methods has earned us recognition as Boerne's #1 taqueria. We maintain strict adherence to authentic techniques while incorporating modern conveniences like contactless ordering.

In 2020, we expanded with a second location in Converse, Texas, maintaining the same dedication to genuine flavor. Our menu features breakfast plates, seafood parrilladas, and traditional Mexican dishes made from scratch daily. We source premium ingredients to ensure every bite reflects our Jalisco heritage. Our team takes pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere where customers experience both culinary excellence and warm hospitality. Through consistent quality and community engagement, we continue growing while staying true to our roots.

I had the Chilaquiles plate. When my grandma was alive it was what she would get. It was good then...a few years back. This time around it was not...i believe they changed cooks. It was a bit bland and was not very tasty. I'm not sure I will be going back.

We went in on a Sunday morning for breakfast. Ordered Migas and the barbacoa plates and two drinks. A few other groups of two sat down after us and ordered very similar items. I noticed that they were served before us and also noticed two of the servers looking over at our table followed by our server gesturing as though she had made a mistake. She obviously forgot to put our order in and instead of letting us know, they just left us there hanging. After watching the table next us get severed with essentially the same meal we had ordered nearly 20 minutes earlier, we decided to leave. There are

We just left! It's 1:55 and the restaurant was closed! The open sign was on and as soon as the cashier saw us she turned the sign to closed. She could have took our orders and says that only to go! I think she decided was better just not to serve us

Ive passed this place many times. I never understood the drive thru line as it was always long. People would wait and wait for their order and then drive away happily. Boerne has many Mexican or Tex-Mex places so this one wasnt on my radar. Finally after not wanting to go to my usual spot I decided to try it and I was not disappointed. I absolutely regret not trying Taqueria Reyna Tapatio sooner. I ordered the fajitas flamenado and I was blown away. These are not your average beef fajitas. These are fajitas made in a sauce with onions, peppers and spices and it is absolutely delicious! The
