Start at Craven and finish your college journey with a degree from a four-year university. Earn free college credits while you're still a high school student with the Career & College Promise program. It's never too late to earn your high school diploma, start a hobby, or expand your cultural horizons.
We offer several credentials that provide the flexibility you need. Most degree programs last two years and provide the most in-depth study of a particular subject. Diplomas and certificates take less time and are often taken in conjunction with other degree programs. Specialized training is also available for workforce development programs that are completed in less than a year.

Online Learning
Report
At Craven Community College, we realize that life doesn't always allow you to come to campus for seated classes. Many of our associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs have been adapted to an online format to allow you a more flexible school schedule, whether you're working, caring for children, or just prefer to go at your own pace.
University Transfer
Report
If you're planning to pursue a bachelor's degree or more, you can benefit greatly from our university transfer programs. Also known as Liberal Arts and University Transfer (LAUT), these programs make transferring to four-year universities and colleges a virtually seamless process, allowing you to earn your associate degree with us and then transfer to your institution of choice as a junior.
Workforce Development
Report
Our Workforce Development (WFD) department provides hundreds of short-term training programs in a wide range of topics. You don't need to complete the college application process to take a WFD class. Scholarships and funding opportunities are available to most students. Public Safety students (fire, EMS, paramedic, law enforcement) may be eligible for 100% fee waivers after registering for classes.
