Animals have been a significant part of my life. Since I was a little girl, I am happiest when any animal is around me. From my first cat, Fred, to my current loves Callie and Gingerbread, I never go a day without them near me. I have been volunteering with the MSPCA for over 6 years. When I'm not fostering, my volunteer time is split between walking dogs, caring & snuggling with cats, and administering oral and subcutaneous medication.

The Urban Leash specializes in private one-on-one walks in to ensure your dog(s) are getting the care, exercise, and love that meets their needs. Unlike group walks, private walks help to minimize health hazards and unpredictable behaviors between your dogs and neighborhood dogs. We will explore the neighborhood and the closest park then return home for a little afternoon snack (approved by you, of course) and lots of love.
Cat Sitting

The Urban Leash offers 15 and 30 minute visits for your cat(s). Each visit includes feeding, refreshing water, scooping litter, administering medications, and of course lots of love and playtime. Visits can be tailored to cover lots of playtime and love if that is what your cat needs. While you are away, we will bring in the mail and water plants as complimentary service.

I can't say enough about how great Nicole and The Urban Leash are! She stayed with our dog Nico and cats Archie and Baby for 10 days. She sent daily updates with pictures. I had no doubt they were well taken care of. When we got home the pets were happy to see us but not frantic the way they have been with previous pet sitters which means they had a good time while we were gone!
