We have been with Happy Dog since 2006! I first heard of Mike McRae when I was out in the neighborhood walking our dog, Porter, and a complete stranger recommended him to me. A few weeks later, our vet recommended him. Our dog was about 6 months old at the time, so Porter has "grown up" with him. When Porter was a puppy, Mike was instrumental in guiding us through the training process and putting us in touch with a great trainer.
He even came over for some of that training, so that he and I were on the same page with respect to setting boundaries, etc. Mike has been walking our two dogs for ten years. I would never trust any other person with my two spoiled rotten labradors. One of the services Mike offers is to stay at our house when we are on vacation.

In 2004 an opportunity presented itself from a friend. He was walking dogs and was leaving for Los Angeles. Michael started by taking over his route in September. November that year Michael was offered to buy the client list from the owner of Happy Dog. It was small and Michael took a huge risk but somehow knew it would work.
