Our services
Report
The Club House offers a wide range of services to make your visit more pleasurable. The club-house sits in the heart of the course, looking onto the 18th green and was created out of a number of country "casitas" giving it an intimate and friendly ambience, combined with the highest standard of comfort and quality.
Gary Player
Report
Born in Johannesburg in 1935, Gary Player is considered the 3rd best golfer of all times. Player accumulated nine major championships on the regular tour and six Champions Tour major championship victories, as well as three Senior British Open Championships on the European Senior Tour. At the age of 29, Player won the 1965 U.S. Open and became the only non-American to win all four majors, known as the career Grand Slam.
Golf Club
Report
Opened in 1973, the course enjoys the distinction of being a Gary Player design. By 1993, although commercially owned, the Club had over 400 members and, apart from the golf, the Club provided a very active social life for the mainly expatriate membership. At this point the whole existence of the club was threatened when the then owner, Wimpey Construction, decided to sell it.
Hole by hole
Report
The par 71 course stretches from 4,998 metres for the ladies to 6,131 metres from the championship tees and with the yellow 'tees of the day' offering a challenging 5,912 metres. A very long drive is required to get up in two on this challenging dogleg right par 4. The large green is protected by a deep bunker on the left, which is to be avoided.
