For many years, McDonagh Medical Center has been open six days per week to accommodate our out-of-town patients as well as local patients who find it difficult to attend appointments during the work week. We feel it is time for a change, however. We would like to be able to enjoy more time with our families.

Dr McDonagh began using chelation therapy in the late 1960s and was one of five physicians in the country who pioneered the use of this therapy. At that time it was performed in the hospital setting so Dr McDonagh would test his patients thoroughly and noticed changes that were just short of remarkable.

We treat a significant amount of disorders (asthma, gastroenteritis, arthritis, tics, depression) where checking for allergies, especially food, may be an issue. We can do IgE (allergic immunoglobulin) blood testing but many of the patients that come to us have had that done and are not getting helped.

Chelation Therapy is a technique the Doctor McDonagh and Rudolph have been doing together since 1977 (almost 33 years) at McDonagh Medical Center and Doctor McDonagh was doing it 10 years before their partnership in 1977.
