Heroes Dive Center was established in 2018 with one mission: to bring a real, high-quality scuba dive center to the Dunedin, Clearwater, and Palm Harbor area. Heroes Dive Center is an SSI Diamond dive center that offers a range of courses, products, and services. We provide over 40 SSI certifications ranging from beginner diver to Instructor diver!

Entry Level

This program may be the first step in becoming a freediver or even a certified scuba diver. This program is the easiest way to experience the underwater world of scuba diving without any commitment. This globally-recognized certification program is the best way to begin your life-long adventure as a certified scuba diver.
Specialty
Report
This program will teach you how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen. This program includes four different specialty courses: Deep Diving, Night and Limited Visibility, Navigation, and your choice of one out of five different Ecology courses we offer. This diving specialty will give you the ability to safely and comfortably plan and conduct dives beyond 60ft.
Ecology

This program teaches you about different marine environments, the creatures that live there, and how they interact with each other. Many humans fear sharks, but is that reputation deserved? This program teaches you about different types of sharks, their behavior, and how you can safely observe them in their natural habitat.
Mermaid

The lifelong dream of being a Mermaid can now become a reality! Learning to swim in a mermaid tail is both an enjoyable way to show your creative side and a healthy way to work out. SSI teaches Mermaids and Mermen of all ages, shapes, and sizes. Best of all, our experience in mermaid swimming and freediving guarantees your comfort, confidence, and having fun underwater!
First Aid
Report
Everyone should be familiar with the signs and symptoms of life-threatening conditions. This course will teach you to recognize these conditions and develop the skills to respond effectively. Instruction for CPR on adults will be included as well. Oxygen first aid is one of the initial responses for diving injuries.
