The Kasilof River is fished from a drift boat. Because there is only one boat launch currently available, we highly recommend full day fishing trips for the Kasilof River. The full balance of your invoice is due a minimum of 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date on invoice. Our cancellation policy allows you a full refund only with advanced notice in writing, 90 days prior to your arrival date.

Most of our halibut fishing takes place on the protected waters of the Cook Inlet. This 200 mile inlet holds one of the world's healthiest and productive halibut fisheries. The Inlet is 35 miles wide and nestled in between the snow capped Alaska Mountain Range on the west side and the Kenai Peninsula to the east.

In the fall of 2010, a very special piece of property was offered for sale. The property had everything Mindy and I were looking for in an investment. Very close to Soldotna (less than a mile), on the Kenai River, and large enough for a big group but small enough to manage and maintain.

Funny Cabin – Kenai River

Our cabin is located 1/2 of a mile up Funny River Road in Soldotna, next to our lodge. Our cabin is the perfect home base for your Alaska fishing adventure. This comfortable cabin offers a full kitchen, washer/dryer, fully covered deck with seating area and a gas grill for cooking your catch. Stairs from the back deck lead to the boardwalk to the river.
