Meringue Cake Studio was founded by Theresa Lancelotta and Jose Zaragoza, two passionate culinary professionals dedicated to creating exceptional baked goods. Theresa, a Baltimore native with formal training from Baltimore International College, specializes in wedding cake decorating and brings over 20 years of bakery experience. Jose, originally from Chicago, complements her expertise with his diverse culinary background from The French Pastry School. Together, they combine technical skill with creative vision to craft custom cakes, desserts, and cafe offerings using only premium ingredients like real butter and vanilla.Located in Perry Hall Crossing Shopping Center, our bakery-cafe serves breakfast pastries, made-to-order sandwiches, homemade soups, and specialty desserts daily. Theresa graduated from Baltimore International College in 2003 with an AA in Baking and Pastry. She specializes in wedding cake decorating and has over 15 years of experience in catering and bakery operations across Maryland.
Jose Zaragoza

Jose trained at The French Pastry School in Chicago and gained extensive culinary knowledge through diverse food industry roles. He brings technical expertise and creative innovation to our bakery's daily operations and product development.

What are your cafe hours?
We're open Tuesday-Saturday 9AM-5PM and Sunday 9AM-4PM. Closed Mondays. Hours may vary for holidays.

Best donuts hands down. Every time I go in and look a there display case or read the menu I have to get a few other things and there amazing to say the least.

My heart goes out for this restaurant and the staff.The Nutella pyramid is my favorite.Even when they dont have it at the front,they have one or two in the back surprisingly every-time i go there.The Mediterranean sandwich is also to die for

I visited Meringue Cake Studio on 12/3/21 and had the pleasure of being served by Maria who was so attentive and displayed amazing customer service. Thank you Maria! Also, my pastries were deliciousespecially the creme brle, which Maria caramelized to perfection! Definitely recommend this business and I look forward to my next visit.

We've always seen this place while stopping for groceries and while driving along the road, but had never actually stopped in until we saw people raving about it on Facebook. Whenever we came to the local Aldi's to pick things up, there was always a line and people eating outside at the tables. Now we see why.

Weve gotten desserts here before and have always been impressed with the quality. So we decided to get our son a birthday cake from here. Unfortunately, we had to postpone the party due to my daughter getting sick. They were extremely accommodating and were able to just change the date of the order. When I finally did pick up the cake, it looked amazing and tasted just as good. Everyone at the party raved about the cake and my son loved it (granted hes 3 and easy to please). But seriously this is a great place to get a cake for any occasion and a great place to find amazing desserts. Definitely
