Booked a day trip with Captain Hugh and first mate Matt. Even though we didnt catch a bluefin, we had a great experience. Clean boat and great conversations. My visually impaired grandfather was able to catch a few fish with the help of Captain Hugh and Matty. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and safe on the boat. Would recommend this charter to everyone!! Much love from the flatlanders!

We had a last minute trip to Maine planned and thought it would be fun to go fishing. We called the captain at LiveLiner and he told us he was booked out for the next month and a half. He then proceeded to ask us how full be he gave me the names and numbers of other captains that thought they could help. i was really appreciative of that small act of kindness. It was much appreciated. Thank you.

What an incredible experience! We would recommend to anyone looking to do a little fishing or just have a nice time while in Portland. Captain Hugh was easily accessible and very communicative before, during, and after our trip. While we were on the boat, we had a lot of laughs and an unforgettable time. I've never fished before and my partner is an experienced fisherman. Captain Hugh and his mate met us both at our levels. Don't miss out on an opportunity to hang out with this crew :)!

We have not used Captain Hugh for a charter (yet!) but I do have a story about him thats worth telling. Last week while on vacation with my family on North Captiva Island off Ft. Myers (Florida) we took a day trip with a local boat captain. Unfortunately while our large group of 10 was being shuttled around in separate groups from island to island, our captain ran out of fuel, stranding half of us on an island. Our captain was able to flag down a boat and asked if they would be willing to go to the island, which was out of their way, and pickup his clients and take them back to the island of
