I would not shop online from here again. While the clay I received is good, the shipping process (to the Midwest) was absolutely awful.
Got charged $100 for shipping for 75lbs of clay. Figured that made sense, only to see the actual shipping costs on the 2 boxes I got added up to half of the shipping costs. You also don't find out about shipping costs until after you order. As someone with my own online business, there are enough online platforms available to easily calculate shipping costs at checkout. I received my first box with only 50lbs of clay. Emailed, no answer. Called and then got the

Purchased a kiln shelf to serve as my pizza oven floor. It arrived very quickly and in flawless condition. Plus my 20 x 20 x 3/4 shelf cost about 25% of a similarly sized pizza stone on Amazon. Two thumbs WAY up!

Customer service is "meh" at best, and it really depends on who you work with. I was heavily discouraged from purchasing raw materials to make my own slip, and was pushed towards purchasing pre-made underglazes instead. I have over 25 years experience in working with clay and the gentleman who 'helped" me, was extremely condescending. They were out of stock of many basic raw materials, not sure if that's because of the pandemic reopening or not. They have lots of tools, a fairly good selection of glazes and underglazes, but quite honestly, for the drive from LA, not worth it. Their prices are comparable

Today I visited the store that per their web page is supposed to be open from 9 to 4, Monday thru Friday, at 12pm I parked my car and opened the door which was OPEN, (I was wearing N95 MASK) and was trying to ask if youare open?? before I finish my sentence someone yells like I am a criminal and says GO BACK TO YOUR CAR, GO BACK TO YOUR CAR.
