EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE.
The food was amazing, and the service was OUTSTANDING. They were super attentive and accommodating the whole time. They really made us feel super welcomed and taken care of.
The restaurant has a great vibe, perfect for dates. The food was reallyyyy good!! But what really makes a difference is the staff.
We had clam Orecchiette, and Pappardelle with a lamb ragu.

Such a fun experience. A reservation would be better but we sat at the bar without one and had a great time. Intricate cocktails and we finished off our meal with a shot of limoncello (well… 2). Delicious pasta - the cacio e pepe comes IN the cheese block itself and most of their pasta is made in house. Super fun Italian experience - will be back!!

I went there during restaurant week, but i didn't order the restaurant week menu. I am not that really into italian food, but wanted to give this place a try. Food was okay for me. Focaccia was burnt. Spaghetti was very peppery. I have tried better italian food than this place and i think i will not be returning to this place.

Cute this spot in Flatiron. I'd been watching them on Instagram for a while and was impressed by what they showcased. Even though I have to give it 3 stars, there was a lot to like about this spot.

We made a reservation on Open Table. I recommend as it was full from the time we arrive until we left. We started at the bar while we waited for our table. It's busy and took a little while to get our drinks. The cocktail menu is big and the pictures are as picturesque as they look on Instagram. I had the Citriolo. It was light and refreshing. Nothing exceptional. I'd say the price

I stumbled upon this place with a friend over the summer- we had no reservations and they were able to seat us. The food and cocktails were AMAZING. We went back a month later to see if it was just a fluke, and it wasn't. The service is great, the pappardelle is so flavorful and the cocktails are so unique and delicious. Highly recommend!

Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. Bocca Cucina manages to be both upscale and casual, both trendy and comfortable. Everything we ordered was ALL worth it. We ordered a number of appetizers, mains, several wines, and cocktails — all were delicious. I will definitely be back!

Very lovely Italian restaurant, modern vibe. A few slip ups with getting our order in but nothing that would deter me from returning. The food was very good, the tagliatelle with lamb was wonderful.

NYC has its share of Italian restaurants and Bocca is one of the upscale offerings. Here you start off with a cocktail or even go for a martini - why not? I asked for mine extra dirty (oh no). The pastas are good I ordered the cacio e Pepe and with the added fresh pepper was satisfying. The restaurant can get crowded and the staff are efficient maybe even too efficient. Upscale comes at a cost particularly if you booze it up.

We had an incredible time at Bocca. The staff was exceptional and the food was incredible. The owners accommodate my teenage daughter who has a very difficult time eating out. She had an incredible time and enjoyed her meal. They were so understanding of her condition and made every effort to make this an enjoyable experience and they did. The bartender was fantastic too. We were a large party and I didn’t want to crowd his bar and take from others but he insisted we sit and have a drink. He was putting us first. We live in NC but this will be our go to restaurant when we visit Manhattan.

This place was very memorable. Unfortunately it was memorable for being one of the top worst dining experiences I've had in NYC. It pains me to say it. No one greeted us when we walked in. Left standing there like idiots for a while. Host was running huge trays of drinks instead. Finally sat. Again ignored forever. Server knew nothing about the menu. Lots of empty glasses around the restaurant. Asked busboy for utensils, he returned & awkwardly just handed them to me lol! (Like no napkin, or tray, or placement.)

Then the food. It was actually so bad. First time in like a decade I&apos

Do you want your morals to be disrespected and for you to feel like garbage for having those morals? Then look no further, and visit Bocca Cucina and Bar! This restaurant is NOT friendly to anyone who loves animals. The menu is marked with vegan and vegetarian options. I told the waiter I was vegan, and he said they can make me a vegan pasta al… pomodoro. When the plate came, their was cheese on it. So I reminded the waiter that I was vegan. He asked me if I told him that. I told him yes, that's why we did a special order. 2nd time the pasta came with no cheese. I took a few bites to only

I made last minute reservations here with two friends, and let me tell you, we were happy!

You have to try the pappardelle. It is amazing! The gnocchi was great too. These two were solid items.

The wine list was also good too. The service was prompt and professional. Definitely would come back again!

Bocca Cucina and Bar Ratings: 3.6/5

Food: 3/5 - I was not impressed by the food, especially the free bread was disappointing. It was stale and hard, probably the worse I have had at an Italian restaurant, not a fan. For the first course, we started with the caprese (fresh mozzarella and tomatoes) along with the meatballs. I would recommend the meatballs; it was tasty, delicious, and super flavorful, very tender and juicy as well. For entrees, we both ordered pasta. The homemade pasta with tomato braised lamb shank blew my mind. Pasta was chewy and al dente topped with the tomato braised lamb,

I've been coming to Bocca for years, from back when it used to be all dark inside and was a great place to escape the office for a catch up with a friend and where you wouldn't bump into any other co-workers! Always enjoyed the tuna sandwich at lunch.

Dinner is more expensive, so it's not my first choice for pasta but ended up going this week for restaurant week and as usual everything was great. Firstly, the tomato dipping sauce they give you with the bread is amazing, it has never changed in all the years I have been going and I really hope it doesn't! For dinner I had the

I came here for restaurant week on a Friday night. It was super packed so I knew it would not disappoint. We ordered the Zucchini and Caprese salad for appetizers. The zucchini was super delicious and crunchy. Our entrees we got Filet Mignon and Pappardelle lamb pasta. I was surprised at how big the portions were. Both entrees were good I recommended all my friends to try this restaurant. The desserts I was unable to even take pictures because ir was devoured in seconds.

There are couple of things about this place which I liked but a lot more which I didn't. First things first at t food is super pricey for the quantity but the quality is good. We reserved a table outside but owing to the heat decided to sit indoors. The problem with indoors was it was even more hotter than outdoors as the AC was not working I think? Owing to our group size we were given the corner table which had a small fan to help with the heat. I don't know whether the Air conditioning was not working for just that day or has not been working for the entire summer?! Ordered caprese

Cool Italian spot with great options. We both ordered a pasta and it was tasty, mamma Mia. They were busy and were still able to accommodate us even though we didn’t have reservations. Everyone spoke Italian so it definitely added to the vibe. Had to come here after eating a tomahawk across the street and still being hungry. Must try this place if you’re in the area!

This is a perfect spot for a weekend dinner with friends or casual date night! It's in a very lively area right off Union square park and there's lots of other nice restaurants right around it. The service was wildly sub par but the food was not bad-- the cacio e Pepe was denser and creamier than I might have liked but the meal was overall fulfilling!

We booked at this place via recommendation of opentable.com and this place truly exceeded our expectations.

We arrived slightly early for our dinner and decided to have some cocktails at the bar. Yes, you read that right, bar seating is allowed again in NYC. I then have a Toronto; gin-based cocktail and my partner had a Spritz so fitting for mid-May weather.

We were then told by the maître d that our indoor table is ready. We started with a complimentary home bread and olive oil followed by focacce parma; homemade mozzarella, prosciutto de parma, tomato sauce, and rucola. It was delicious and

We came here for a team dinner and had a nice table that was across the street from the restaurant--far enough away from other tables that I felt safe! The servers were super attentive throughout the night; they were always refilling my wine and water glasses. Our table didn't have umbrellas, but others do, which is great if you're worried about rain. The string lights outside the restaurant are also a nice touch. Our table was on the other side of the street, so the construction lighting under the scaffolding was our lighting (ha).

We started off with bread that came with some kind

If you're looking for quality Italian food, look no further. The dishes at Bocca were all amazing!

The tuna tartare special was a great first dish, balancing savory and zesty in every bite. The octopus was perfectly cooked - not too tough, not too tender, and not overly seasoned, letting the dish speak for itself. And the gnocchi main was so delicious, a really hearty dish to end the meal. All in all a fantastic experience, and the staff is happy to provide recommendations so you can make the most of the menu!
