Our Story
Report
Workhorse is driven by a simple mantra: without quality, there cannot be growth. However, as a new player in an experienced, developed beer market like Philadelphia, we know that top-notch suds are merely the ante to play the game. Successful brands are able to create meaningful connections to their customers with an honest, accessible approach and an unwavering commitment to hospitality.

Ron's Ribs opened back in 1984 at 1627 South Street, and was a neighborhood staple serving the area's best ribs and BBQ until the restaurant was forced to close in 2010, eight years after the passing of beloved activist/owner Ronald Washington.

Now, his son Brandon is bringing back Ron's Signature Sauces for BBQ loving home chefs around Philadelphia, to establish a funding source to benefit a new community center and co-op workspace he's renovating called 1901 part of South of South Neighborhood Association (SOSNA) space at 1901B Washington Avenue in Philadelphia's Graduate Hospital neighborhood.
