Celebrating its 11th year as an artist's collective, the gallery is located at the iconic Montague Bookmill on the Sawmill River waterfall, the Sawmill River Arts Gallery currently includes 15 member artists and 18 guest artists who are all exclusively local to the Western MA area.

The Sawmill River Arts Gallery accepts a wide selection of quality work from Pioneer Valley artists. A committee of gallery members reviews requests for participation from interested artists and crafts people. The committee determines the acceptance of new work based on space available, display considerations and the quality of the work.
