From baby showers to corporate meetings, our dedicated event team provides customizable menus, AV equipment, and full-service coordination. The Bourbon & Bubbles Room with patio access and the 55-seat bar area create perfect settings for memorable celebrations.
Brunch Service
Served daily from 10 AM to 3 PM, our brunch menu features classic dishes like Chicken & Waffle and Monte Cristo, alongside innovative options like Roasted Apple Pie Pancakes. Weekend brunch adds premium items including Crab Cakes & Eggs and Tiramisu French Toast, complemented by specialty cocktails and bottomless options.
Wine Selection
Our award-winning wine program features over 100 selections from global vineyards, including rare vintages and local favorites. Guests can enjoy half-price wine Wednesdays, curated flights, and sommelier-recommended pairings. The list spans Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Chardonnay, and sparkling varieties, with both by-the-glass and bottle options available.
Happy Hour
Monday-Friday from 3-7 PM, our Happy Hour features half-price appetizers, $4.50 well drinks, and $4.50 house wines. The menu includes signature cocktails like the S&A Margarita and SA Old Fashioned, alongside beer specials and discounted small plates designed for shared enjoyment in our vibrant lounge areas.
Dog-Friendly Patio
Our outdoor patio welcomes pets with designated seating areas and water stations. As Dallas' original dog-friendly dining space, we provide pet menus featuring healthy treats and non-alcoholic beverages. What are your operating hours?
We serve daily from 10 AM to 9 PM (Sunday) and 10 AM to 10 PM/11 PM (Mon-Thu & Fri-Sat). Brunch runs 10 AM-3 PM daily.
Do you allow pets on the premises?
Yes! Our patio is dog-friendly with water stations and pet menus. We were Dallas' first dog-friendly restaurant before it became legal.

State & Allen is a cute neighbor bar and restaurant. All of the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was great. It had a little more of a bar atmosphere than I was hoping for a dinner, but I am sure it is not like that when the weather is nice and you can sit outside or for brunch/lunch. Overall, I had a wonderful experience!

I Went for brunch i feel like its more of a bar than brunch. Smelled more old alcohol than food. But i will say the food i got was Bussin Bussin. It was a burger and pizza. I couldn't really tell who was staff and who wasnt. If i wouldn't have spoken up about placing an order i feel like i wouldnt have ate for a while.

Came for brunch with a large group. They had out tables ready. One waitress served us and she did a really good job. The food came quickly as well. I ordered the crab cakes and eggs and I was impressed. Well cooked and seasoned. Also a really good price for crab cakes! Thumbs up for brunch.

Come here at least once a week. Cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Brunch is PHENOMENAL. Awesome deals on Sunday. Cant recommend it enough.

Some friends and I went to State and Allen today for some Sunday brunch, and the atmosphere was phenomenal. This place definitely feels like a local place, where everyone knows each other. I had the some spicy bloody marys and then I ordered the Triple Dip and the Pesina Chicken Tortilla Soup. All of them were so delicious, and the presentation was great too. The service today was fantastic, and our bartender Nino took care us with the utmost attention and quality drinks! He definitely made us feel at home with his charisma and warm welcome. If you get the chance, I highly recommend stopping.

This restaurant is a Dallas favorite! We love coming for brunch, to watch a game, or enjoy a causal dinner. We hosted my husband's work party here last week in their private space and it was perfect for our group!! Kaley and Joe took great care of us and took care of anything we needed.
