
MVIA's Learn-to-Skate program teaches skaters of all ages and abilities to build confidence on the ice. Whether you are a causal recreational skater, wanting to play hockey, or skate in figure skating competitions, MVIA has a class to build your basic ice skating skillset! All Learn-To-Skate sessions must be pre-booked.

Vancouver's Mountain View Ice Arena opened in 1998. MVIA's 69,000 sf building is home to several successful hockey leagues, recreational skaters, learn-to-skate classes, and competitive figure skaters. Our mission is to train and encourage participation in ice-skating activities for youth and families in SW Washington.
Schedule & Prices

MVIA utilizes Ez-Facility, an online schedule registration system, for all participants to pre-book ice time. Currently, all public sessions may be booked through Ez-Facility, OR in person at the rink. All other sessions require pre-booking via Ez-Facility. The MVSA provides a fun and safe experience for SW Washington and the greater Portland metro area ice skaters of all ages and abilities.
Learn-to-Skate & Aspire

The MVSA Learn-to-Skate classes are designed for Snowplow Sam skaters as well as Beginner Mini-Mite skaters through the Basic 4 level. We also offer adult classes through the Basic 4 level. Learn to Skate classes are offered year-round. The MVSA Aspire program is the bridge program into the rink's academy.

The MVIA hosts the area's most experienced figure skating coaches. Our coaches provide high-quality, exceptional one-on-one education for all levels of ice skating. In addition, the rink's academy program, the MVSA, supports skaters looking for affordable, small group options to advance their skating skills.
Public Skating

Looking for fun on the ice? Then sign up for our public/flex skating sessions. Public/flex skating is designed for all levels and ages of skaters who simply want to have fun and enjoy time on the ice. All flex skate times must be pre-booked. MVIA does offer skate rentals. The MVSA provides a fun and safe experience for SW Washington and the greater Portland metro area ice skaters of all ages and abilities.
