This place is, as most kids would say is a bop.I had a lot of fun but the skates are eh. As a broke teen I realized you get what you paid for, so I humbled myself and realized it's fine because I still had fun! I just wanna shout out Braden, I think that's how you spell his name but I believe he deserves a raise! He taught me how to ice skate and he's just such a nice guy. Here's a photo of us (excuse my smile, I am still trying to figure out how to do that) :)

I am not a pro ice skater and was taking my learning steps yet i enjoyed the ice arena very much. The lady at the booth where you get your ice skates was not very cheery but that's not a big deal. The bathrooms are a little trek from the arena considering for beginners you are walking around on ice skates. But i have gone a couple times and was quite happy with it.

Love this rink. Mark is an excellent coach. I am an adult that started lessons in February. I went from wobbly to a confident beginner very quickly under his instruction. I can't do cross overs yet, but I think I'm close! Not bad for eight weeks! Fun way to get some exercise.

Absolutely love this ice rink. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rink is fantastic, especially right after it's been zambonied. I'm learning to figure skate and am taking lessons. I have come so far from crawling along the edges! In a month I can literally glide around the rink effortlessly and feel like I'm floating on a cloud. Never thought I could learn to skate gracefully as an adult. Thanks to the staff at Mountain View Ice Arena, this spot has become my new happy place. Highly recommend it!

Never been here before but booked it for my daughter's 6th Birthday, got the largest package even though we didn't have 20 kids but this allowed some parents to skate which was nice since all the kids were first timers. I have some complaints but they didn't seem to change the fact that everyone had a great time. 1) It's FREEZING! I notified parents that the rink is kept 50-60 degrees and it may have been, but it felt like 40. I've never been this cold at a skating rink. My jacket wasn't enough, the cold came up through the flooring, through my shoes and my feet

Ah, the smell of ice and concessions, what memories. Sweet sweet memories. As a young lass, I used to take skating lessons and would go to the rink on a regular basis. As I grew older, interests changes and ice skates became rollerblades (mode of transportation). As a teen and adult, I maybe went skating a total of 3 times. I finally checked out Mountain View Ice Arena, after numerous drive bys. I love how ice skating rinks have had no reason to change in the nearly 20 since my glory days. There is no need for fancy technology in a rink. All you need is a Zamboni and some ice. Mountain View provides

Our kids tried their Free Hockey day and had a blast. The workers were helpful and encouraging and Jason, the organizer, did great making the day a success!
