Tastefully decorated with sustainably forested Belizean Hardwoods, each room boasts a sumptuous king pillowtop bed, comfy cushions, original artwork and ensuite bathroom - everything you need to relax between amazing reef dives.Each room has ceiling and floor fans, regular 110volt outlets allowing you to charge your camera or other electronic device, and we provide soap and shower gel for you.

Lighthouse Reef Atoll is the most remote of the three offshore atolls in Belize and is still the most untouched, with less than a handful of businesses geared towards diving visitors. Huracan Diving is the only dive operation in the Atoll.

Pristine Sponge, fan and coral formations on the dramatic walls begin at a shallow 35 feet, and Long Caye is the perfect base to discover them being the only inhabited caye of the six making up the Atoll landmasses.From the very northernmost end of the Atoll, Sandbore Caye is one of the two cayes boasting lighthouses, the one at Sandbore having been established in 1904.

Come play and explore our island! Long Caye borders the southwestern side of Lighthouse Reef Atoll - Huracan Diving Lodge is surrounded by littoral forest that extends over 2 miles south of the lodge. The Caye is 3/4 miles at its widest point and approximately 650 acres. Long Caye's protected lagoons and mangroves provide habitat for an abundance of tropical wildlife, such as breeding fish, rare birds, sea turtles and iguanas to name a few.

BOAT DEPARTURE TIME FROM BELIZE CITY TO THE ISLAND IS 2-2.30pm depending on all guests arrival. Please meet us at the "RAMADA PRINCESS HOTEL MARINA" by 1.30pm and if possible no later than 2pm. In case of any flight delay, the very latest the boat can wait is 4pm due to daylight and length of transfer time.
