Open Water Diver Course
Our PADI-certified Open Water Diver course provides comprehensive training for beginners. The 3-week program includes classroom instruction, pool practice, and two weekend ocean dives. I had been wanting to learn how to scuba dive for years, and Divers West made the whole experience everything I had hoped for and more. The entire process, from the online learning to gear rental to the culminating dive at Catalina Island was such a smooth process. Javier is passionate about what he does, and it shows. My instructor was excellent - patient, encouraging, and thorough. I went there to get my diving certification. It was great experience; Andy, Gabe, and the entire staff prepared me and made sure I felt comfortable underwater. I originally had problems during my first dive equalizing, the dive instructor during my first open water helped me slowly go down until I felt comfortable and get over any potential hurdles. I highly recommend it and felt really comfortable and prepared for any situation.

My daughter and husband got their PADI certification through Divers West and it was a really great experience. They enjoyed the teachers and felt very prepared for their final Catalina dives.
