Shaolin HongQuan Kung Fu

The Shaolin five animals consist of Tiger, Crane, Leopard, Dragon, and Snake. Each animal has characteristics that provide the practitioner with and array of offense and defense fighting techniques. Only through a mastery of each of these animals can one hope to become a complete Kung Fu stylist. Because its energy is external in nature, the energy of the Tiger is different from the other animals in the cycle.

The Chinese written form of the word Qi (often seen written as "chi") has many definitions given to describe its meaning. In Taiji (tai chi) practice it is referred to as "energy". For the purposes of explanation, Qi is a universal energy that exists in all living creatures, and Gong is the work that is required in cultivating the essence of strengthening that life force.

The TACT/DART program is built for the need for no-nonsense self-defense (Men and Women). This training was developed to benefit all students to give confidence to its practitioners in a day and time when feeling safe and secure is a necessity! This is a lesson that 9/11 has taught us all. It confirms how vulnerable we as Americans really are.
