The New Phoenix Pottery Studio's goal is to enrich our local community and provide a fun, safe, and supportive environment in which students of all ages can explore their creativity and learn the properties of clay. Creating with clay, one of earth's most abundant raw materials, is an ancient process dating to prehistoric times.

Beautiful in form and feature, lovely as the day, can there be so fair a creature formed of common clay? She returned to her love of clay after raising her family of three girls. She has been involved with NPP for over 10 years and loves sharing the joy of exploring clay. Chris enjoys making functional pottery and the calming and healing benefits she has discovered when working with clay.

I can't say enough about the amazing experience I encountered taking pottery lessons; learning how to hand build, work the wheel or throw clay as they say at The New Phoenix Pottery Studio. I knew absolutely nothing about pottery when I went into this venture. I took a weekly course for 8 months at this studio and had a blast.
