Since 1979, the I. Pinckney Simons Gallery has endeavored as art consultants to both clients and artists throughout the Unites States to educate, collect, and place original art. We specialize in the personal interests of the client whether it is antique American paintings, regional artists, or artists of a designated locale.

Working with Christies and Sotheby's Auction Houses through the years we have acquired fine paintings per collectors requests reaching many aspects of the clients. Today, we also stay current with contemporary established artists of the Southeast Region. We have been fortunate to place paintings and sculpture in the U.S. State Department's Art In Embassy's Program, international corporate collections, law firms, South Carolina Supreme Court, S.C.

Report
The first "Tree Lady" series was inspired by the iconic Hunting Island "Boneyard, " an extraordinary seascape of arboreal skeletons bleached and weathered by the sea. Though many of the Boneyard trees are gone (cleared by the state to replenish the beach), their spirit lives on in the "Lost Tree Ladies."
