Anne Blair Brown was born in North Kingstown, Rhode Island and currently resides in Nashville, TN. Her work centers on both rural and urban landscapes, people, and interior spaces. While she enjoys the quiet solitude of her studio, she delights in painting on location. Brown says, Painting from life creates an intimacy with the subject that I just can't get from a photograph, and it heightens my sense of spontaneity.

Growing up in Wisconsin, south of Lake Winnebago near Milwaukee, Dan Gerhartz began drawing as a teenager. He attended the American Academy of Art in Chicago from 1983-85, and then worked briefly in Chicago as a commercial artist. His first gallery representations were Talisman Gallery in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Grapevine in Oklahoma City.
Russell Gordon

Russell Gordon, known for his realistic and luminous still lifes, received an undergraduate and graduate degree from the Schuler School of Fine Art in Baltimore. His style is reminiscent of Dutch and Italian Mannerism, and often combines themes of symbolism and humor. Working directly from life, Gordon's pieces remind the viewer of the Old Masters, combining precise and detailed brushstrokes with a painterly glow.
Mark Kelvin Horton

Mark Kelvin Horton was born and raised in rural North Carolina. After graduating from East Carolina University School of Art in 1983, Horton moved to New York City to begin a career in advertising and design. He carried with him the dream of someday becoming a painter. Eighteen years of living in New York were spent working as a creative director in various advertising agencies and eventually founding his own design company.
