Owner Eric Zhu credits his father, Quig Zhu, who was a chef, for his passion and dedication to offering high quality, fresh and beautifully presented Japanese cuisine.
As a child, he observed his father traveling around Japan and China, learning the finest cooking techniques, authentic recipes and food presentations. His father later owned and operated a Chinese restaurant in Nashville. Another family member, an uncle who was in the military stationed in Japan, also influenced Eric's meticulous approach to preparing and serving delicious food.
