The Surf Club Of Quogue is a private, non-profit beach club located on the south shore of Long Island, N.Y. The family nature of the club insures a rich tradition that is sustained by many generations of membership drawn from the area or who summer here. Our facilities overlook over 400' of pristine beach bordering the Atlantic Ocean.
A modern restaurant serves daily luncheon on decks overlooking the beach. An Olympic-sized pool provides opportunity for a variety of aquatic activities including youth swim team, water aerobics, adult laps or simply relaxing. A wading pool complements the main pool along with an infant play area and recreation room.

Our history begins with a period known as the boarding house era of the Hamptons. Until the late 1800s people had no notion of a bathing beach as such. Then, with the establishment of railroad service to the South Fork in 1870, summer borders began to arrive, attracted by advertisements of sailing, fishing, bathing and access to the ocean.
Scholarship Fund

The Surf Club Scholarship Fund was established to provide financial support to Club employees seeking post-secondary education. The Fund has raised over $300,000 and awarded over $200,000 to Club employees to date through the tremendous generosity of Club members. An annual golf outing and benefit auction dinner are the primary means of fundraising.

The Surf Club Restaurant is operated seven days a week exclusively for members and their guests. Daily luncheon is served from noon until 3pm followed by ice cream and snacks until 5pm. A basic menu of sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs and salads is augmented with daily specials for those seeking a special treat.
